DDR (Dance
Dance Revolution)
You know you
want to. Come strut your funky stuff after
Teen Advisory Board meetings. We hook
up the ol' gamepads and tell ourselves it balances out that cold pizza
breakfast we had this morning. AND/OR:

Pick up that
axe and melt some faces. Fan of DDR? Well,
Guitar Hero is sorta-kinda along those same
lines, only completely different. Finally, a way to channel your inner
Slash. Now
with GH3! Dates/times: possibly
after the Teen Advisory Board
meetings.

READ Posters
Great Aunt
Millicent would sure love one of these! Show off your favorite book or
zine by starring in your very own READ poster. We'll snap a pic of
your mug on this day, you choose the background and designs, and we'll
take it from there, photoshopping you into a masterpiece of readingness.
We'll have the posters finished in plenty of time for Christmas.
Or Great Aunt Millicent's birthday.
Author
Colleen Gleason Returns!
Thursday, October 23
at 6:00pm
Author of
The Gardella Vampire Chronicles,
our good buddy Colleen Gleason returns to talk about her books and her life as an
author. Copies of her delicious reads
(and other fun gifts) will be available for
purchase and signing. Just in time for Halloween!
Chocolate Sucker Craft
Art and
chocolate. If there's more to life, I don't want to hear about it.
Create edible works of art that, yes, you can take home and scarf at
your leisure. This program is extremely limited (10 spaces!), so
sign up starting in September!
Glass Etching Craft
Need a
Christmas Gift for someone special? Using several high-powered
Class IV 450nm lasers*, we'll create delicate works of art not suitable
for framing. Sign up sooner rather than later, 'cause this craft
is limited to 12 teens.
*Hah. Just kidding. We'll be using completely safe
Glass Etching GooTM. Don't worry, Dawn's done this a hundred times. |
