GO Club

"The origins of Go are shrouded in the mists of ancient Chinese history, but the game is thought to have originated at least 2500 - 4000 years ago. It is the oldest game still played in its original form." -- From the American Go Association
We have found an experienced Go player, Obed Kandjii. He has graciously offered to teach us to play! Pizza and pop will be on hand for those who are serious about learning to play.

Upcoming meetings:

TAB: Teen Advisory Board

Is taking a break. Join the GO Club for some fun and schmoozing!

Amid the furor of school, homework, parents, siblings, reality tv, and oboe/kickboxing/ballet/underwater basket weaving lessons, isn't it nice to know there is an oasis of calm to be had?  Come to the Teen Advisory Board meeting, a time and space that is almost Zen-like in its quality.  Soothe your jangled nerves with pizza, and gain some control over life by helping us decide what programs, books, movies, and toppings to offer.

Pokémon League

Dust off those Pokémon cards in the back of your closet! Come to these open Pokémon gatherings where you can learn to battle with your cards, and maybe win some free promotional cards! This won't be cutthroat - you'll still go home with the cards you came with, unless of course you want to trade!

Travis Trimper, our League Leader is shepherding this popular program.
