Book Lists - Princesses, Pirates, and Potty Training! Find books on specific subjects or themes such as Trains, Short Stories, and New Baby.
Braille - Kid's books in Braille or Braille-and-text.
Easy Readers - JE-R - They have a number on their spines from 1-4, which tell you how hard they are. So when you're ready to begin reading with little or no help, start with these!

J Illustrated - Picture books for big kids! They are often beautifully illustrated, like many picture books, but there may be more text dealing with a serious subject. They aren't your little brother's picture book!
Large Print - Need something with a little larger font? These books are easier on the eye than regular-print books.
A worldwide game for adventurers and explorers! Our own "letterBOOK" is located somewhere in the library. Can you find it?
Information available through the internet - we subscribe to databases chock-full of information! Get help on homework here!

Picture Books - JE - Big books that are perfect for reading together! Learn your ABCs or numbers or find a silly story to share.
References - Have you ever browsed our reference shelves? We have some real treasures there. Did you know we have a book called Atlas of Great Lakes Indian History, edited by Helen Hornbeck Tanner? Also check out the new 2007 World Book Encyclopedia, perfect for reports! These materials do not check out, but can be consulted in the building.
Steady Readers - These are kits containing both book and book-on-tape, and are read at about a 15% slower pace than usual, allowing readers to keep up with the tape.
