Computers

Click here for info on Computer Classes.

We have several computers available for public use free of charge.  Most computers have access to the internet, all come with the Microsoft Office Suite 2007 software (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Publisher), and have printing capabilities.  2Gb Flash Drives are sold at the front desk for $6.00.

We have filtered computers available for patrons under the age of 18.

Please read the internet use policy.  Computers are available on a first come, first served basis.  You do not need to be a Highland resident to use the computers.  Cardholders are guaranteed one hour of time on a computer, visitors are guaranteed a half-hour of time.

SAM software allows you to log into a computer using your library card (or a guest card if you are from out of town).  This will also allow you to pay for printouts, which are 10 cents per page for black and white, 25 cents per page for color.

Wireless internet access is available throughout the library.

We also have tables throughout the main level where you can plug in your laptop for internet access by using an Ethernet cable.
